Wednesday was our first day at Tokyo Disneyland. The weather was terrible, but at least it meant the lines were shorter. I was very glad we had been earlier in the year though as I didn't feel like I had to go on absolutely everything. It was much nicer to just take it easy and enjoy the atmosphere. Usually there are characters to greet you as you walk through the gates, but due to the bad weather, they only had a couple in the World Bazaar. I spotted Tigger first, and he was about the only one I could get anywhere near. We spent the morning going on a few attractions like Space Mountain and visiting a few stores. We had hoped to watch Mickey's Halloween Parade, but due to the rain, it had been replaced with a shorted 'wet weather' version.

One thing we really liked this time was the 'Once Upon A Mouse' live show. We had actually decided to watch so we could get out of the rain but thoroughly enjoyed the whole performance. Most of it was in English too, which helped. It featured a wide range of characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Clarabelle Cow, Donald and Daisy Duck, Woody, Bo Peep, Chip and Dale, Mulan, Flik, Alice, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Si and An, Clara Cluck, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Dumbo, Max, Roger Rabbit, The Big Bad Wolf, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Winnie the Pooh, and my favourite Eeyore. :)

One of the best things about this show was the wide range of characters and the appearance of the more uncommon characters alongside everyone's long time favourites. Disney has an amazing ability to combine music with entertaining stories and comedy. Throughout the show you see various scenes such as Minnie Mouse at the hair saloon and Donald Duck trying to conduct a very uncooperative orchestra.
